After discovering they’re dating the same man, a recovering codependent living with her mother and a socially awkward babysitter fumble their way through a series of misguided schemes, enlisting a parade of eccentric and unqualified accomplices in a half-baked mission to get revenge.

An improvised absurdist comedy and an experiment in trust and letting go of control. Danny Is My Boyfriend was devised
as an attempt to find a way back to the low-stakes, collaborative conditions that made filmmaking feel exciting in the first place.
We worked with minimal infrastructure and no script, using a loose outline we designed specifically to create conditions for surprise and discovery. We decided not to worry about the outcome and focus instead on being present in the process of making the film itself. We wanted to see what might happen if we prioritized curiosity and spontaneity over polish and certainty.
